HIV/AIDS RESEARCH & SUPPORT CENTER

The main goal of this center is to undertake globally relevant and locally responsive research that contributes to understanding HIV pathogenesis, prevention and epidemiology as well as the links between Tuberculosis and AIDS care with support for community development.

OBJECTIVES:

• Provision of support for people living with HIV/AIDS 
• Prevention of spreed of HIV/AIDS within community
• Designing and delivering HIV/AIDS workshops
• Provision of health support for people living with HIV/AIDS
• Disseminated HIV/AIDS information to communities
  
• Attending conferences & seminars on HIV/AIDS nationally and internationally affecting community
• Developed HIV/AIDS awareness campaign tools based on research finding
